MUSHROOM TEA MEXICAN HOT CHOCOLATE LATTE

Recipe 29 - ☕🍄 Mushroom tea is growing in popularity because of the many nutrition benefits mushrooms have – from adaptogens to antioxidants. They are pretty impressive!

🌏 But they definitely can taste a little on the “earthy” side.

✅ This shroomy take on Mexican hot chocolate changes all that! For ultimate dairy-free creaminess, use oat or cashew milk.

What You'll Need

Makes 1 serving

  • 1 tsp mushroom tea powder
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder or unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ⅛ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ⅛ tsp chili powder
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • 1 cup (240 ml) oat or cashew milk

What To Do

Mix everything except the milk together in a blender. Heat the milk until it’s hot and add to the blender. CAREFULLY blend until frothy. Taste and adjust the seasonings, and enjoy!
