I signed up for the Ideal Protein Program on September 1, 2016 because I was struggling with my health and weight. I have tried numerous diets; some were successful and some were not but unfortunately the weight always crept back on. 10 weeks later I have lost 30 LBS but more importantly I have regained my health. Before starting the Ideal Protein Program, I was dealing with numerous health issues and was starting to lose faith. 8 weeks into the program I had an appointment with my liver specialist and for the first time in over 3 years my liver is “finally starting to heal itself” and shows no signs of inflammation. My current blood work shows my blood sugar to be in the normal (non-diabetic) range which is absolutely amazing! Even my lung specialist noticed a marked improvement in my overall health.
One thing I liked was the fact that I have a personal coach who I meet with every week. It keeps me accountable and I like that the number on the scale is not the sole focus of the meeting – it’s important of course but that number does not define the entire week.
Overall, I found the experience very rewarding. When I signed up I had lots of doubts – I wasn’t sure if I could stick to it but 10 weeks later, I know I can.
And I am better because not only has the number on the scale gone down but my health has improved by leaps and bounds. My son is extremely proud of me too which is a lovely added bonus!
Now I feel energized. I am no longer doubtful; I know I will reach my goal and I will maintain it and my health will thank me for it!
